Who We Are...

Arts Amplifying Youth (AAY!) is a movement created for youth by youth to amplify their voices and experiences around important issues that directly impact them. Our team is a collective of young artists and leaders 12-24 years old.

Each year we work together to design and host a summit that offers a platform for youth to identify the changes they want to see in their communities and through the arts lead the way in making a difference.

In addition to creating our annual event, Arts Amplifying Youth collaborates with community organizations, educators, administrators and decision-makers to ensure that young voices and the arts are present where ever choices are being made that directly impact youth.

Arts Amplifying Youth! is a leadership program for new and emerging arts leaders to explore their creativity and leadership skills.

Our program offers a paid opportunity for young artists to develop the tools they need to activate and amplify their voices. The program aims to empower young people to play their roles as leaders and make a difference in their communities by providing training, mentorship, and practice to build confidence, artistry, and community engagement skills.

AAY! believes in the power that young people have to be agents of change. We believe that all youth should be seen, heard and supported to play a leading role in their own lives.

We are the future and it is our power to shape tomorrow's world today! Youth have so much creative vision and perspective, but sometimes we don't have the right tools and resources to bring our ideas to life... until now.
